For optimum results from IPL (Impulse Light) treatment regime, it is imperative that treatment schedules be strictly followed. Furthermore, sun light (natural or artificial) must be avoided on treated areas one month prior to, and during the entire program.
As each person is different, follow-up visits may be necessary for optimum results for hair removal.
Hair Reduction / Removal
Each treatment results in a reduction of 30% of hair regrowth. The heat of this treatment destroys the hair follicle rendering it incapable of producing hair. Treatment reschedule time is once each month. As the body tries to repair itself in healing the hair follicle, follow-up visits may be necessary for each treated area. These follow-up visits are booked approximately once every 6-12 months. Experience shows that some need follow-up visits and others never do. There is no way to determine prior to your treatment how your body will react and if you will or will not need to follow up.
